Situated in the heart of historic downtown Greenville, this iconic 12-story property originally opened in 1925 and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. It was the 2021 winner of the Best City Center Historic Hotel by Historic Hotels of America. Conference attendees will appreciate the soaring ceilings, marble moldings and ornate Beaux-Arts architecture’s classical Greek and Roman columns common in major public buildings and grand homes during the American gilded age.

Dining on site includes the Spoonbread Restaurant, which offers a classic Southern-inspired menu. The Piano Lounge is a wonderful spot for handcrafted cocktails and live music in the hotel lobby. 

The hotel provides easy walking access to Greenville’s widely celebrated local dining options, boutique shopping, cultural attractions, and Falls Park on the Reedy. 

The conference hotel block rate is $229 per night with all fees included. The room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in addition to a 3 percent per room per night destination fee.

Self parking is convenient in a parking deck behind the hotel and will cost $7 per day. Valet parking is $20 per day.

The West Poinsett provides complimentary shuttle service to/from the Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) Airport for guests of the hotel. GSP is 13.5 miles from the hotel. Guests must make arrangements in advance through Service Express by calling the hotel directly at (864) 421-9700. Seating is limited. 

Hotel rates will be valid from one day before the conference and one day after the conference as long as rooms are available. Feel free to arrive early or extend your visit to Greenville.
