AMERICAN JOURNALISM HISTORIANS ASSOCIATION 2026 CALL FOR PAPERS, PANELS, AND RESEARCH IN PROGRESS The American Journalism Historians Association invites paper entries, panel proposals, and abstracts for research in progress for its 45th annual convention to be held November 5-7, 2026, at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Greenville, South Carolina. The deadline for all submissions is June 15, 2026 11:59 p.m. CST. AJHA embraces a broad view of journalism and media history, including print, broadcasting, advertising, public relations, and other mass communication forms intertwined with the human past. Transnational research is also encouraged. Submissions must contain original material and should not have been submitted to or accepted by another convention or publication. Individuals may submit one entry per competition.
RESEARCH PAPER SUBMISSIONS All submissions consist of two separate documents: the paper itself and an author information page. Document 1: Research paper
Document 2: Author Information Page Please click here to review formatting.
