Little Rock, Arkansas, welcomes the American Journalism Historians Association for its 36th annual convention during the 60th anniversary year of Central High School's integration.

In addition to research paper presentations and panel discussions covering the gamut of mass communication history topics, the conference features several special events, including a tour of historic sites in the Little Rock area and recognition of journalists from the host community.
